We use 3 different ratings:

1. Newcomer - Intermediate

Are you into riding wide dirt trails, doubletrack or flowy singletrack or do mostly road biking. Don't yet have the skills and confidence to ride natural rough terrain with loose sand,
rocks, tight corners, narrow deep singletrack.
If you have very little experience biking drop us a line and we will tailor a trip for you.
If you have some experience, up to intermetiate the trips below will be a suitable choice.

For those who feel comfortable riding a variety of trails which may include loose rocks, sand and lava. but are not up for the long hike a bike and technical descents.
feel comfortable doing so on more challenging terrain like the narrow icelandic singletracks not to steep.
ok with a small front wheel lift and rear wheel lift to get up and over the obstacles (up to 5 inches) rocks, steps etc.

3. Advanced

You are a passionate mountain biker. For those who feel comfortable riding a variety of trails which may include loose rocks, sand and lava both technical and fast trails up and down.
Up for a revarding hika a bike and are comfortable doing so on more challenging terrain like the narrow natural icelandic singletracks with a front wheel lift and rear wheel lift to get up and over the obstacles (up to 10 inches) rocks, steps etc.
