Terms & Conditions
Please read and understand the following before booking a trip. We strongly recommend reading all trip details before booking and purchasing travel insurance in case you need to cancel at short notice.
We use two separate waivers: a trip waiver of claims that all participants must complete and sign before the trip starts, and a bike rental agreement that all renters must sign before collecting equipment. Copies of both are available by email or at our office.
Booking, Payment & Cancellations
Day trips (non-heli) and bike rentals
Full payment due at booking. Full refund if cancelled 48 hours or more before the trip or rental start. No refund within 48 hours.
Heli biking
Full payment due at booking. Full refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the trip. No refund within 7 days.
If a day tour or heli trip is cancelled by Icebike Adventures due to weather, the rider may choose between a full refund and rescheduling.
Multi-day public trips
20% non-refundable deposit at booking. Balance due 8 weeks (56 days) before the trip, payable by bank transfer or credit card. No refunds for cancellations by the participant. If cancelled more than 8 weeks before the trip, the deposit may be applied toward another scheduled multi-day trip for the same person within 18 months of the original booking.
Tailor-made and private trips
20% non-refundable deposit. Balance due on agreement. No refund if cancelled with less than 6 weeks’ notice.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@icebikeadventures.com. Assessments are calculated on the date Icebike Adventures receives your notification.
Cancellation by Icebike Adventures
Icebike Adventures reserves the right to cancel a trip if the minimum number of clients is not met. In that case, all payments, including the deposit, are refunded in full. Once trips are scheduled, our cancellations are rare.
Icebike Adventures cannot assume responsibility for any loss incurred and reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, river levels, trail conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Travel & Medical Insurance
Participants are responsible for purchasing their own personal medical insurance, which should cover all medical expenses for adventure and activity tours. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Health & Fitness
Participants should be healthy and active. Anyone with medical conditions should inform us well in advance of departure. Icebike Adventures assumes no liability regarding the provision of medical care.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for:
Understanding the conditions and itinerary of their chosen trip
Selecting a trip appropriate to their interests and abilities
Preparing adequately for the trip
Bringing a proper bike, in perfect working order, if not renting from us
Bike Rental
Rental price includes helmet, bike, and flat or SPD pedals. Multitool, pump, and bike tubes can be rented separately as a fix kit.
The hire period runs from collection to return or to a staff member for drop-off.
All renters must sign the bike rental agreement.
Conditions:
Renter must be 18 or older
A security deposit is required (cash or credit card authorisation)
Each bike is reviewed and prepped by an experienced mechanic before hire
Helmets must be worn at all times
Bikes must be returned in the same condition as received (normal wear and tear expected)
The majority of bike damage occurs during transport. To keep our rental bikes in top condition and our rates competitive, we ask all renters to take great care when transporting bikes. Any damage incurred will be charged at full market price. We recommend riding directly from the Trail Centers, as both areas offer excellent biking straight from the rental.
Any loss, damage, or theft must be reported to Icebike Adventures immediately
In the event of theft or loss, Icebike Adventures reserves the right to charge the original purchase price of the bike
Cycling involves personal risk. Riders are responsible for their own safety and agree to ride responsibly at all times. Icebike Adventures will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death related to the use of hired equipment.
Conduct
Reckless riding will not be tolerated on any Icebike Adventures trip.
