Talk about a trip of a lifetime. My wife and I wanted to do some riding in different terrain than we are used to and we got it. It was challenging but in the best ways. I don’t think we would have had the experience we had without our guides.

Our helibike expedition with Icebike Adventures was over the top amazing. My sons and I ride awesome Colorado rocky mtns Moab Utah but Iceland’s volcanic terrain, drops, along waterfalls and crossings, unique vegetation and natural beauty is like no other.

We took a multiple day bike tour with Icebike and it went above and beyond our expectations.

The team bent over backwards to create routes every day that took the conditions into account and we managed to have mainly tailwinds!! It was a fantastic way to see parts of the island away from the tourist traps. It was an amazing experience and won’t be forgotten.

The volcanic landscape covered in green moss is mesmerizing and photos hardly do it justice. The idea of going and finding perfect single track that laces through the hills was our goal, and with the help of Magne from Icebike we set out to find the best trails the south island had to offer.

It was indeed the most epic tour of our life (and we have done some years of traveling)! The guides were amazing and real outdoor aficionados (takk fyrir to Gummi, Kelly, Sole and Erla) and the organization was great.

The staff are warm and helpful, the guides are super-encouraging and safety-minded at the same time, and the terrain is both unique and challenging. All-in-all Icebike made for an unforgettable MTB experience! From start-to-finish the experience was top-notch, and they seem to have all the details covered.

The singletrack is second to none and the amount of terrain you can cover in a day is literally 2-3 times what backpackers typically do. Of course, knowing where to go is key and that’s where Magne comes in. He seems to know every trail and every town and he delivers the best of Iceland on a silver platter.
