Quad on a black sand beach

Walk the black sand beaches of small seaside villages of  Eyrarbakki  or Stokkseyri.  A short walk can include the beach and some beautiful old icelandic houses in these tiny villages.

Or head out to Selfosss, the largest town in the area for some icecream, lunch & shopping.

A little longer drive:

Reykjanes peninsula with it’s stunning moonscapes, and area of the recent eruptions.

Þingvellir National Park – historically important place in the nations history is located in a beautiful area.
