Full Circle: Tobias Woggon Returns to Iceland

Pro rider Tobias Woggon and Katrin Stöhr visited Iceland to try out eMTBs and tell their story.

Directed by Michael Neumann, the result is Full Circle Episode 1: Iceland, released in February 2026 and already watched by well over 100,000 people. If you haven't seen it yet, clear an hour.

Who Is Tobias Woggon?

Tobias is the kind of rider and human being who makes these projects worth watching. A strong, skilled rider, yes. But also someone genuinely curious about the places he travels through, the people he meets and the experiences that don't make the highlight reel. He brings warmth to everything he does, on and off the bike, and it shows in every frame of the film.

Full Circle is his latest project, and it suits him perfectly: an honest, personal look at what it means to travel the world on a mountain bike.

Riding in Iceland with Magne

For the Iceland chapter, Tobias teamed up with Icebike Adventures for assistance with logistics and location scouting. If you want to understand Iceland on a mountain bike, riding with Magne is a good place to start.

The Trails

The trip started in the geothermal valley of Reykjadalur and the trails around Hveragerði that the Icebike team has spent years building. Then the highlands. The trip took them deep into the backcountry around Landmannalaugar, and they climbed to viewpoints above Þórsmörk, looking out over the Eyjafjallajökull and the glacier tongues of Mýrdalsjökull.

Wind. Rain. Lava fields. And, as Tobias puts it in the film, trails with incredible grip.

What Full Circle Gets Right

The film doesn't pretend Iceland is easy. The weather does what it wants, and the terrain demands respect. But Tobias captures exactly why that's the point. The riding here is unlike anywhere else, not because it's polished or purpose-built, but because it's real. The landscape is raw, the trails are natural, and every day on a bike here feels earned.

It's a great film about a great place, made by someone who clearly loves both.
