If you want a casual ride, no fuss, easy to reach from Reykjavík:

Lundur sits within easy reach of Reykjavík. Ride straight out from the trailhead into lava fields and open landscapes. No long drives, no faff. Just clip in and go.

We have two brick-and-mortar bike rentals in Reykjadalur and Lundur.

If you have a rental car and are willing to commit half a day: Reykjadalur, and the Steamer or Geo routes. If you just want a casual ride, Lundur is your place.
